About the project
The website has to lead visitors to sign up for a course. So we started with the questions people ask themselves before they buy, and only then moved on to design and code.
Scope of work
As part of the project we ran user research and workshops, worked out the information architecture, designed the UX/UI and built the site on the WordPress CMS.
Workshops and strategy
We started work on the Talkersi website with a series of workshops to agree on the project assumptions. At this stage we defined what the site's users need, what questions they ask themselves before deciding to buy and what their buying path looks like.
Information architecture
Next we worked on the information architecture, which we developed in low-fi wireframes (wireframes with little detail). They helped us specify what information each page should contain. The wireframes let us set the exact assumptions and quote the implementation.
Usability testing
To check the assumptions we ran a usability study with Talkersi clients. We held in-depth interviews and looked at how selected clients felt about the existing website.
Design
We started the visual design by creating a design system. It let us build organized and consistent visual elements across the whole project. The next step was designing the complete look of the website. To make the process run smoothly, we organized meetings between our UI designer and the client's team.
Development
Coding took the most time in the project because of the many interactive elements. At this stage we also added e-commerce features for selling products and managing orders.
Testing and launch
The finished site was tested by our team and the client's team. This helped us catch oversights and bugs that appeared in different browsers and on different devices. We used BrowserStack for testing. Once checked and polished, the project went live on its target domain.
